Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Next Move Healthcare. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Assist with the placement of artificial airways and the initiation, monitoring, and maintenance of mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitor patients for therapeutic responses and intervene as necessary.
  • Assist with the transportation of ventilator-dependent patients.
  • Respond to emergent patient situations, ensuring airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation.
Requirements
  • 1 year of RRT experience (Experience in acute, LTAC, or other settings is acceptable)
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • State licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
  • NRP - Neonate Resuscitate (must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date)
