Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team at National Property Management Associates Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our 108-unit residential community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC troubleshooting and installation, electrical work, and other repairs to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Oversee and direct the work of other maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
  • Communication and Coordination: Communicate daily with the property manager to prioritize tasks, coordinate maintenance schedules, and ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all maintenance work meets our high standards and that our facilities are well-maintained and safe for residents.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance-related issues in a timely and effective manner, using your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to find creative solutions.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in multi-family maintenance, with a proven track record of success in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other maintenance systems, as well as manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: HVAC experience and a strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
