Job Title: Healthcare Navigator/Healthcare Marketing Liaison

At Otterbein SeniorLife, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Navigator/Healthcare Marketing Liaison to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Navigator/Healthcare Marketing Liaison will be responsible for driving long stay nursing and post-acute census results for the Cincinnati area. This role will work closely with our nursing ministries and healthcare partners to develop and execute marketing strategies that meet our census goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish relationships with targeted hospitals and healthcare providers to drive referrals for patients needing long-term nursing and/or post-acute care.
  • Develop and maintain a relationship with hospitals and healthcare providers to yield an increased share of patient referrals.
  • Monitor and maintain targeted payer mix to meet financial goals and ensure financial stability for our ministries.
  • Develop and execute quarterly nursing marketing plans for Cincinnati, Ohio.
  • Assess potential referrals or potential admissions and work to admit the patient to the optimal Otterbein location.
  • Distribute promotional materials to referral sources in targeted hospitals.
  • Work closely with hospital and Otterbein admissions/discharge marketing team members to ensure easy transition of patients from hospital to Otterbein.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts to meet census goals and keep Otterbein location staff advised of anticipated referrals, tours, and/or admissions.
  • Identify opportunities and execute those selected opportunities to make working with Otterbein easier and more efficient for Medical Center and doctoral practice personnel.
  • Create digital marketing strategies applicable to the geography supported by this position.
  • Ability to create and execute creative approaches to virtual marketing.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS preferred; plus three to five years of sales/marketing experience with a proven track record in referral marketing, healthcare admissions in a senior care or nursing home setting.
  • Knowledge of data management (customer relationship management) programs preferred.
  • LPN, RN, or social worker with experience as a clinical liaison (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational/planning/time management skills.
