Overview

At Otterbein SeniorLife, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents and patients. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hospice Care Navigator to join our team.

Responsibilities

The Hospice Care Navigator will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing and sales plan to support the growth of our hospice services. This will include:

  • Developing and managing a contact and leads database to track referrals and sales activities.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key referral contacts, including doctors, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conducting outbound calls and appointments to drive sales and referrals, and representing Otterbein SeniorLife at public functions.
  • Developing and executing a detailed marketing and sales plan, including programs to improve sales, internal and external events, and tracking and reporting on referral sources.
  • Providing education and support to the public, Otterbein partners, and potential and actual referral sources on end-of-life care, advance directives, and hospice eligibility and care.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Health Care, Social Work, or Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid state of Ohio RN or LPN license.
  • 2+ years of sales and referral marketing experience, preferably in hospice, social work, or related fields.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with older adults and their families.
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
