About the Role

At Otterbein SeniorLife, we're committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Healthcare Navigator/Healthcare Marketing Liaison, you'll play a vital role in driving long-term nursing and post-acute care census results for our Cincinnati area communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish relationships with targeted hospitals to drive referrals for patients needing long-term nursing and/or post-acute care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hospital administrators, doctors, social workers, and discharge nurses to increase patient referrals.
  • Monitor and maintain targeted payer mix to meet financial goals and ensure financial stability for our ministries.
  • Develop and execute quarterly nursing marketing plans for Cincinnati, Ohio.
  • Assess potential referrals or admissions and work to admit patients to the optimal Otterbein location.
  • Distribute promotional materials to referral sources in targeted hospitals.
  • Work closely with hospital and Otterbein admissions/discharge marketing team members to ensure smooth transitions of patients from hospital to Otterbein.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts to meet census goals and keep Otterbein location staff informed of anticipated referrals, tours, and admissions.
  • Identify opportunities to make working with Otterbein easier and more efficient for medical center and doctoral practice personnel.
  • Create digital marketing strategies applicable to the geography supported by this position.
Requirements
  • BA/BS preferred; plus three to five years of sales/marketing experience with a proven track record in referral marketing, healthcare admissions in a senior care or nursing home setting.
  • Knowledge of data management (customer relationship management) programs preferred.
  • LPN, RN, or social worker with experience as a clinical liaison (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational/planning/time management skills.
