Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Counter Sales Expert to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for communicating with customers on parts look up, generating interest in our products, and entering and finalizing customer orders. Your primary goal will be to provide high-quality leads to support the sales team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively manage incoming calls and emails. You will work closely with team members to provide exceptional support for customers as well as internal customers.

A key aspect of this role is providing prompt, courteous, and concise responses to customer phone inquiries. You will also be responsible for processing phone or fax orders accurately and timely. Additionally, you will educate, suggest, and/or sell products and add-on parts to customers.

In this position, you will need to understand and communicate route and demand delivery times to customers. You will resolve customer questions, complaints, and requests, and effectively communicate with warehouse and office staff when needed. You will also perform all required customer follow-ups in a timely manner each day.

This role requires strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. You will interact with various levels of management and be proficient in software applications programs including email messaging, Microsoft Word, and Excel. You will create and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support.
