About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. As a Mental Health Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing mental health services to children and families in our community
  • Developing and implementing outreach and engagement strategies to promote mental health services
  • Collaborating with community partners to provide comprehensive services to children and families
  • Providing crisis intervention and trauma-informed care to children and families
  • Documenting client information and maintaining accurate records

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, psychology, or counseling
  • Experience working with children and families in a mental health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
