Job Title: Technical Support Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Manager to join our team at BUHLMANN Diagnostics Corp. As a Technical Support Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers throughout North America, ensuring high customer satisfaction and resolving technical inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and in-person, resolving technical inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the commercial team in the U.S. and with the BL Technical Support manufacturing team in Switzerland to ensure seamless communication and support.
  • Manage and maintain the BDC Quality Management System, ensuring all relevant SOPs are up-to-date and followed by the team.
  • Act as a liaison with Swiss manufacturing (BL) quality, customer, and technical support groups, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Travel to sites as needed to assist in implementing and supporting assays and instrumentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (such as laboratory sciences, biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, etc.)
  • Significant professional experience in the clinical or scientific laboratory and/or the diagnostics field
  • Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist (ASCP) Certification is a plus
  • Strong listening and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in standard Microsoft Office software, with knowledge of QuickBooks and/or CRM (sales force) a plus
