Revenue Assurance Analyst

Position Overview:

The Revenue Integrity Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the department's initiatives related to audits, educational efforts, reconciliation processes, charge capture, and oversight of Epic work queues.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this role ranges from $27.93 to $44.59, which translates to an annual salary between $58,094 and $92,747. Compensation is based on relevant experience in the field. Please note that the hourly pay is part of a comprehensive rewards package, which includes a robust benefits program for eligible positions.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position requiring availability from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and it is entirely remote.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • An Associate's degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Nursing, Healthcare, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in the healthcare sector.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of pertinent experience, which includes at least one of the following areas: billing, charge description master, chart auditing, coding, or charge capture.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience in Revenue Integrity is also preferred.

Certifications and Licenses:

One of the following certifications is required:

  • Registered Nurse License
  • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS), Certified Documentation Integrity Practitioner (CDIP), or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
