Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Systems Specialist to join our team as a Field Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing start-up, repair work, and preventative maintenance on our indoor HVAC equipment. You will travel to job sites up to 75% of the time, working closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validation and updating end user contact information
  • Inspection and repair of equipment
  • Documentation of risks and issues from the job sites
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders on the job site
  • Monthly reviews and providing feedback for continuous improvement
  • Availability within 8-10 hours for on-site emergency service
  • Performing 32-point prevention checkups
  • Start-up work

Requirements
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Diploma; HVAC or HRAC Technology; or Building Systems Engineering Diploma
  • Min. 2 yrs. of HVAC and Control Systems experience OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved
  • 1-2 years of related design, production, or service experience will be advantageous, but not necessary
  • Must have a valid Air Conditioning & Refrigerant recovery certificate/license
  • Gas certificate/license will be preferred, but not necessary
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean abstract
  • Experience in electrical controls and electro-mechanical components and controls
  • Broad knowledge in commercial HVAC, energy recovery, and heat transfer products
  • Ability to travel
