Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will bring over five years of experience in programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing building automation systems. This role will leverage platforms like Tridium Niagara, Distech, and others to ensure seamless integration and functionality across commercial projects. You will be responsible for implementing advanced control strategies, supporting system performance, and delivering excellent technical service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program and configure building automation systems using platforms such as Tridium Niagara and Distech, ensuring efficient operation and integration of various building systems.
  • Develop and optimize control strategies for HVAC, lighting, and other critical building systems, ensuring peak performance and energy efficiency.
  • Perform system commissioning and testing, ensuring all controls function according to project specifications and performance expectations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to assess requirements, customize solutions, and deliver outstanding customer support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues quickly to maintain system reliability, performance, and compliance with relevant safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in programming and building automation systems with expertise in platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Distech, and other major systems.
  • Proficiency in integrating HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems into BAS platforms for commercial applications.
  • Strong understanding of system networking protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.) and commercial building system integration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with an ability to address system failures or performance issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with clients and internal teams to meet project goals.
  • Local and stable work history with a demonstrated ability to deliver successful outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA.
