Responsibilities
- Conduct vascular diagnostic procedures to identify peripheral vascular conditions or blockages.
- Assess patients for signs of peripheral vascular disease by selecting the most effective procedures while adhering to regulatory and compliance standards.
- Execute appropriate diagnostic tests, document patient results, and communicate findings.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations, notifying physicians of any abnormalities or changes in patient responses.
- Maintain adequate supplies and verify that all equipment is functioning correctly; report any deficiencies or malfunctions.
- Position patients accurately and select anatomical and technical parameters.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory agency standards.
- Guarantee timely submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS, ensuring image quality, correct lead markers, and accurate patient data/history.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and film storage areas.

Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire or job transfer date is required. Acceptable certifications include those from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

One or more of the following is required:
- Cardiographic Tech credential from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credential from the ARRT obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credential from the ARRT obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire or job transfer date.
- Medical Sonographer credential from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire or job transfer date.
- Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credential from the ARDMS obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire or job transfer date.
- Sonography Tech obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire or job transfer date.

Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
