Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Tech to join our team at Metropolitan Healthcare Services, Inc. as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist. This role will involve performing radiological procedures at a technical level, requiring independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures, including radiographic examinations, fluoroscopy, and other imaging modalities.
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures, as required, and may be assigned duties as an interim supervisor or instructor.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiologic procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Radiography program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Currently registered as a Registered Technologist (R.T.(ARRT)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registered within one (1) year from date of hire for a new graduate.
