Position Overview

We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Vascular Imaging Specialist to join our Electrophysiology Lab team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals seeking to advance their imaging careers within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct vascular diagnostic examinations to identify peripheral vascular conditions or blockages.
- Assess patients for signs of peripheral vascular disease by selecting the most effective diagnostic procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Execute diagnostic tests, document patient results, and communicate findings effectively.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, promptly notifying physicians of any abnormalities or changes in patient conditions.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly, reporting any issues as necessary.
- Position patients accurately and select appropriate anatomical and technical parameters.
- Adhere to all regulatory agency standards in all activities.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and documentation to the PACS system, including correct lead markers and patient data/history.
- Assist in keeping the department organized and clean, including procedure rooms and storage areas.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider certification required within one month of hire.
- One or more of the following credentials is required within one year of hire:
- Cardiographic Technician credential from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Radiologic Technologist credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Medical Sonographer credential from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Sonography Technician specializing in Vascular Sonography credential from ARDMS.

Education:
- High School diploma with two years of relevant experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or four years of applicable experience.
