Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
- Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals
- Perform lab testing and phlebotomy as needed
- Answer phone calls and screen referrals
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or one year of direct clinical patient care experience
- Current Medical Assistant certification (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA) or ability to obtain within one year
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
