Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team at Carolina Spine and Neuro Cntr. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our physicians and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals
  • Perform lab testing and phlebotomy as needed
  • Answer phone calls and screen referrals
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or one year of direct clinical patient care experience
  • Current Medical Assistant certification (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA) or ability to obtain within one year
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
