Facilities Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Facilities Operations Specialist to join our team at Randstad USA. The successful candidate will provide critical support to our site, working closely with Facility Managers to ensure seamless operational activities, vendor oversight, equipment maintenance, and occupancy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support an environment of teamwork, performance excellence, and personal success
- Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure clean and organized facilities
- Respond to work orders in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service
- Identify opportunities for improved operations and service excellence, making recommendations for site inspections and assessments
- Schedule and manage repairs and maintenance, tracking to completion
- Provide information and direction to vendors and other service providers to ensure excellent coordination and execution of work
- Coordinate events, meetings, and conference facilities as required
- Maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and environmental health and safety protocols
- Coordinate site operations in accordance with agreed policies, procedures, and contract scope
- Open and close facilities, including arming and disarming alarm systems
- Other duties may include reception and guest support, driving a passenger van for guest pickups and tours, mail and courier services, office supplies and equipment maintenance, landlord relations, and building access passes
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of experience in multi-site, manufacturing/warehouse/distribution environments
- A high school diploma or technical certification
- Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements, critical facilities, and vendor management for specialized services
- An understanding of basic technical aspects of property, including computer room air-conditioning, chiller systems, fire protection systems, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and effectively deal with stressful situations
- Self-motivation, confidence, energy, and flexibility
- Ability to lift 50lbs, bend, carry, and sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
