Job Title: QA Automation Engineer with Scripting

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with Scripting expertise to join our team at Tekvivid Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software testing and automation with a focus on creating and maintaining automated test scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Automated Test Scripts: Utilize scripting languages to design and execute automated test scripts, ensuring software quality and reliability.
  • Test Automation Frameworks: Collaborate with the development team to enhance and optimize existing test automation frameworks.
  • Manual Testing: Perform manual testing when necessary to validate new features, bug fixes, and other changes.
  • Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track bugs in bug tracking tools, working closely with the development team for resolution.
  • Test Planning and Documentation: Assist in creating test plans, test cases, and test documentation to support QA processes.
  • Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality assurance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage and product quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 13 years of experience in QA automation and scripting.
  • Scripting Languages: Basic to intermediate knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
  • Test Automation Tools: Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Manual Testing: Understanding of manual testing processes and best practices.
  • Bug Tracking: Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Version Control: Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Continuous Integration: Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
