Senior Automation Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer with extensive experience in automated testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both automated and manual testing processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in Automated QA Testing.
  • 8 years of experience in creating QA Test Scripts.
  • 8 years of experience in executing Manual Test Scripts.
  • 3 years of experience in reporting QA Automated Test Cases.
  • 3 years of experience with JavaScript and HTML.
  • 3 years of experience in Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Jira.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated tests by developing scripts that execute testing functions autonomously.
  • Prioritize test scenarios and create execution plans for effective implementation.
  • Document automated processes thoroughly.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance activities for new applications, specifically focusing on the Grants Management System.
  • Develop and maintain automated test cases using tools such as Selenium or equivalent technologies.
  • Maintain test scripts for both manual and automated testing procedures.
  • Perform manual testing as necessary and track the execution of test cases.
  • Establish regular schedules for automated test case execution and necessary reporting.
  • Utilize Jira for logging and tracking defects efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices.
  • Work effectively in an Agile environment.
  • Support the development team throughout various phases including development, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production, troubleshooting test cases as required.
  • Lead UAT testing activities as necessary and provide on-call support when needed.
