Overview

Procom is on the lookout for a talented and seasoned Mobile Automation Engineer to enhance our dynamic team.

This role is an onsite position requiring full-time presence. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing mobile automation scripts utilizing Espresso and/or XCUI frameworks for both iOS and Android platforms. The engagement is projected for an extended duration, with a strong potential for renewal. Candidates will undergo drug screening and background verification.

Position Details
The Mobile Automation Engineer will focus on crafting automation scripts for mobile applications using Espresso and/or XCUI frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a robust automation testing framework from the ground up using Espresso and/or XCUI for Mobile applications.
  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans for mobile applications.
  • Generate functional, regression, and integration UI test scripts for iOS, Android, and APIs.
  • Ensure continuous operation of automation processes, analyzing and promptly addressing any failures.
  • Collaborate with leadership to explore, investigate, and train QA resources in Test-Driven Development and Automation practices using Espresso/XCUI.
  • Plan, develop, and troubleshoot native performance testing scripts.
  • Work collaboratively across various teams within Procom and with external partners to define requirements, identify automation tools, and establish best practices.
  • Promote an end-to-end testing strategy across multiple applications.
  • Partner with distributed teams to strategize future QA tooling and technology initiatives.
  • Coordinate with product teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to align project plans, testing timelines, and reporting metrics.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year in Mobile Application Development.
  • 2-3 years of experience in creating and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Over 3 years of experience in developing, executing, and sustaining automated test scripts.
  • Proficiency with XCUI and/or Espresso.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Kotlin, SWIFT, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools for bug tracking and test case management (e.g., JIRA/MTM, Zephyr/HPQ).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple QA projects across geographically distributed teams with concurrent releases.
  • Strong understanding of Mobile Development for iOS and/or Android platforms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and Lean DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Swagger, Bruno, Postman, or similar.
  • Proficient in creating pull requests and conducting code reviews on GitHub or other version control systems.
  • Understanding of Git branching strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Financial/Trading services sector is advantageous.
