Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at 7-Eleven. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a Point of Sale (POS) system, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet each customer in a friendly manner, assist with purchases, and suggestively sell products to increase sales.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Run a POS system, monitor customer lines, and expedite the sales process.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of products and services offered by 7-Eleven and complete associated transactions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, and prohibit the sale of age-restricted products to individuals under the minimum age requirement.
  • Program Promotion: Take an active role in promoting programs introduced by 7-Eleven and ensure established standards are adhered to.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the store.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a POS system.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
