Job Summary and Qualifications
As an Operating Room Nurse, you will deliver outstanding patient care during surgical and invasive procedures.

Under the supervision of the OR Manager, you will collaborate with team members to ensure the operating room is fully prepared for procedures.

We value teamwork and are looking for a dedicated nurse who shares our commitment to meaningful patient care.


In this role:


You will:

  • Perform general nursing duties and demonstrate competence in all OR procedures as verified by specific competencies.
  • Facilitate efficient room turnover and patient flow.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and computer charting to ensure accurate and timely patient records and charges.
  • Utilize your experience to anticipate and fulfill the surgeon's needs.
  • Conduct counts of sponges, needles, and instruments with the OR Technician during all surgical procedures, adhering to facility policies.
  • Communicate effectively between patients, surgeons, OR staff, families, and other departments as necessary.
  • Follow safety and security protocols for patients and staff, including hand hygiene and the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure, especially in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Utah.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 7 days of hire.
  • Certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS) from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the Operating Room.
