Position Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering nursing care that aligns with their expertise and complies with hospital policies and procedures. This role promotes a collaborative environment that values respect among patients, families, physicians, staff, and other departments. The RN will primarily work in critical care settings (ICU, PCU, and ED) approximately 75% of the time.
The RN exemplifies professional nursing through clinical expertise, leadership, and management activities. Under the general supervision of the Director, the RN provides holistic, individualized care utilizing the nursing process for patients typically seen in the unit.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Utah or RN Compact license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- A minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience is required.
