About the Role
As a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit, you will deliver exceptional preventative, supportive, and nursing care to patients requiring acute medical and surgical attention.

Your role will involve creating personalized care plans through thorough assessments and planning.
Our team operates like a family, and we seek individuals who share our commitment to meaningful patient care.


Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient conditions or treatment responses.

- Collaborate with patients and families, considering developmental, cultural, and age-specific needs, to formulate and implement care plans that address problems, goals, evaluations, and interventions.

- Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patients' clinical conditions and diagnostic results.
- Perform nursing duties as required throughout the continuum of care for all patients.

- Engage in process improvement initiatives within the department.
- Work alongside Social Services and Pastoral Care to provide emotional and end-of-life resources for families, including hospice support.

- Maintain professionalism and composure, particularly in high-pressure situations.


Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Utah or a Compact State.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from an accredited organization within a week of employment.
- An Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
- Previous nursing experience in a high-acuity hospital or Long-Term Acute Care setting is preferred.
