We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Scientist to join our team at the State Water Resources Control Board. Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage dredge or fill permits for various types of activities
- Act as a liaison to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for their dredge or fill projects
- Contribute to the preservation of California's water quality through regulatory compliance and enforcement
- Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to achieve water quality goals
To be successful in this role, you must possess essential personal qualifications including integrity, initiative, dependability, good judgment, and the ability to work cooperatively with others. You must also have a current and valid driver's license, if the position requires driving.
