Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile incoming bills of lading and verify customer paperwork
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage and create damage reports as needed

  • Coordinate with the induction team to move parts to the appropriate cell
  • Verify part numbers and create initial shipping paperwork
  • Pack materials for shipment using best practices
  • Work with the customer service team to understand shipping instructions and create labels
  • Finalize shipments and maintain inventory of shipping supplies

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for approximately 25% of the average workday

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with shipping software and systems, such as FedEx Ship Manager and UPS OneWorld
  • Well-organized with attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively
  • Valid forklift operator's license
