Job Title: Residential Instructor

Community Residences is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Instructor to join our team. As a Residential Instructor, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and supportive living environment for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and care to clients, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure client needs are met.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, laundry, and household chores.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client behavior, medical conditions, or physical changes to the supervisor or program manager.
  • Administer medication to clients as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and reporting any errors or concerns.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy living environment, adhering to agency policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Valid CT driver's license and good driving record.
  • Physical Management Training (PMT) certification.
  • First Aid, CPR, and Medication Certification.
  • Ability to lift and transfer 70-75lbs.
Working Conditions:

Varying schedules available, including evenings and weekends. Competitive hourly rate: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour.
