Job Summary

The Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator works collaboratively with nursing leadership, providers, registered nurses, technicians, and pre-hospital emergency medical staff to plan, direct, and evaluate care for pediatric patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

* Apply expert clinical knowledge to collect data and provide therapeutic care for pediatric patients and their families
* Communicate effectively and work collaboratively to facilitate evidence-based, standardized practice among the multidisciplinary team
* Develop and implement problem-solving techniques, team development, and provide feedback to staff and administration

Requirements

* At least 1 year of care coordination experience
* Graduate of NLN-accredited School of Nursing
* Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)
* Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers)
* Certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS)
