Job Summary

The Patient Experience Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their journey at the University of Miami. This position requires a strong understanding of patient needs and a commitment to delivering personalized service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals to resolve concerns and complaints.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Utilize active listening skills and empathy to address patient concerns and provide resolutions.
  • Apply patient satisfaction best practices to ensure high-quality care and service.
  • Contribute to process improvements and identify opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office.
