Contract Negotiation Specialist

The successful candidate will be proficient in ensuring contracts are legally sound, align with business objectives, and mitigate risk for the organization. They will also have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to research applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts across the company's family of businesses
• Analyzing existing contracts for potential risk issues and compliance with existing laws or terms
• Representing TRAKAmerica in contract negotiations with counterparties
• Providing legal counsel on contract matters
• Assisting in resolution of any contractual disputes
Requirements
• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• Minimum three years of legal experience
• Prior experience working in the debt collection industry for a law firm, collection agency, debt buyer, creditor, or legal network supplier is a plus
Compensation
TRAKAmerica offers a competitive salary of $160,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including paid holidays, paid time off, health insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
