Position Title: A&P Airworthiness Certification Inspector

Company: General Dynamics

Role Overview:
As an A&P Airworthiness Certification Inspector, you will conduct thorough inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and safety of aircraft and components.

Essential Duties:
  1. Execute airworthiness inspections and assessments utilizing approved data and quality control procedures.
  2. Certify aircraft and components as airworthy prior to delivery and return to service.
  3. Inspect aircraft, engines, and component repairs to ensure adherence to FAA regulations.
  4. Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate mechanical and electrical requirements.
  5. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of aircraft records.
  6. Verify airworthiness of aircraft before any flight operations.
  7. Issue FAA forms in accordance with regulatory requirements for various functions.
  8. Conduct certification inspections in support of aircraft and component certification.
  9. Monitor compliance with repair station regulations and quality control manuals.
  10. Develop and approve aircraft logbook entries related to configurations and installations.
  11. Engage in FAA certification activities as an Inspection Authorized Representative.
  12. Provide technical guidance to inspection personnel regarding FAA and regulatory requirements.
  13. Assist in managing inspection workloads effectively.

Qualifications:
  1. Proficient in the use of job-related tools and equipment.
  2. Skilled in reading blueprints and interpreting maintenance manuals.
  3. Knowledgeable in quality assurance and control systems.
  4. Familiar with FAA regulations and guidance related to airworthiness approvals.
  5. Able to complete required training and obtain necessary certifications.
  6. Capable of reading, writing, and understanding the English language.

Additional Information:
