Airworthiness Inspector Sr A&P

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Airworthiness Inspector to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our aircraft meet the highest standards of quality and airworthiness.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Control Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs and alterations to ensure conformity to FAA-approved data.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate, neat, and legible records of work performed on aircraft/components.
- Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with technicians, leads, and supervisors to ensure accurate aircraft records are produced in a timely manner.
- Audit and Compliance: Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion on all aircraft prior to approval for return to service.
- Mentorship and Training: Mentor technicians on effective documentation and promote high standards of quality through instruction and example.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; 6 years aircraft/component inspection experience, including 3 years on large or mid-size aircraft; Airframe and Powerplant License required.
- Skills and Qualifications: Proficient in Federal Aviation Regulations, FAA forms and documents; proficient in blueprint reading, use/interpretation of Maintenance Manuals, test specifications, and other inspection-related documentation; strong written and verbal communication skills; strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word; minimum 20 WPM typing speed.
