Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Processor Specialist to join our team at Wallenius Wilhelmsen. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for shipment, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare vehicles for shipment by hanging labels, routing, and performing other activities as required.
  • Conduct regular vehicle maintenance, including checking for damage, batteries, gasoline, tires, and PGF wrap.
  • Purchase units to place in inventory for shipment.
  • Perform load processing activities, including taking work orders to vehicles, routing to shipping points, and raising wipers to indicate vehicle movement.
  • Act as a liaison between company and haul away truck carriers, inspecting units for damage.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to operate vehicles with automatic transmissions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and overtime hours with little notice.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to read and interpret work orders and Standard Operating Sheets.
