Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Mid Coast Medical Group-Family Medicine in Bath, Maine.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts and a telephonic call schedule divided equally among the 13+ Family Practice Providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in primary care.
Requirements
  • Current nursing license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure.
  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Master's Degree required.
  • Minimum three years of professional nursing experience. Two years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred but not required.
  • Current BLS certification.
