Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Business Transformation: Implement Operational Excellence tools and culture to drive business transformation and improve overall performance.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Define, implement, and refine continuous improvement initiatives as an internal coach and change agent.
  • Operate with Urgency: Provide tangible improvements in needed areas through lean / six sigma best practices.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with numerous stakeholders to foster a sense of collaborative improvement.
  • Educate and Train: Educate stakeholders at front line and supervisory levels in the tools and principles of Operational Excellence.
  • Coordinate and Facilitate: Function as a coordinator and facilitator for OPEX projects.
  • Develop Project Plans: Develop detailed OPEX project plans for multidisciplinary teams in targeted areas across functions and groups.
  • Support OPEX Events: Support OPEX events / general problem solving.
  • Provide Coaching: Provide coaching to shop floor employees and supervisors through Gemba Walks, 1:1 discussions, and group interactions.
  • Maintain Reliable Systems: Help maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, reducing overall operating costs and increasing Quality.
  • Aid in Training: Aid in training of operations and maintenance personnel.
  • Manage Projects: Manage small and medium continuous improvement projects.
  • Interact with Other Groups: Effectively interact with other groups / functions including Quality, Engineering, and Validation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Lean Concepts: Experience with lean concepts.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, listening, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Certified Six Sigma: Certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt (preferred).
