Job Description

Mr. Rooter of Watsonville is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Plumbing Service Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of quality in all aspects of your work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with our team to evaluate plumbing challenges and provide solutions to continuously improve our services.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, act in a team environment, and pursue solutions to complex problems.
  • Perform all repairs and replacements to code, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Be capable of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and explaining all problems and options to customers.
  • Conduct thorough and accurate inspections, communicating findings to customers and providing options for resolution.
  • Enter and complete service invoices on an iPad in a legible and clear manner.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and office personnel to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform calculations necessary for work and invoicing purposes.
  • Follow up with customers as necessary to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of equipment, trucks, and job sites, adhering to company standards.
  • Ensure accurate and quality inventory on trucks, maintaining a well-stocked and organized workspace.
  • Present a professional image by arriving on time, wearing company uniforms, and maintaining a neat and well-groomed appearance.
Requirements:
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a desire and ability to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member, with a willingness to follow up with management as needed.
  • Capability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Required experience: 2 years in drain cleaning and plumbing.
