Position Overview:

We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable Water Treatment Technician to become a vital part of our team in the Engineering sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and enhancement of our water treatment systems. This is a permanent, full-time position.

The perfect candidate will have extensive experience with water systems, a meticulous approach to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of water quality and safety.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Water Treatment Technician, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Operating and maintaining water treatment machinery, ensuring optimal performance at all times.
  • Conducting routine inspections and analyses of water samples to detect any potential issues or contaminants.
  • Interpreting analytical results and making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols to meet water quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing any issues within the water treatment systems.
  • Implementing preventive maintenance schedules for all water treatment equipment.
  • Adhering to all safety and environmental regulations associated with water treatment.
  • Documenting all tasks performed, including any identified issues and corrective actions taken.
  • Staying informed about advancements in water treatment technologies and methodologies.
  • Providing training and support to other team members regarding water treatment processes.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure the overall efficiency of water treatment operations.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related role within the Engineering sector.
  • A degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience with water systems, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in using software and systems related to water treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
  • Physical fitness, able to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions.
  • A dedication to ongoing learning and professional growth in the field of water treatment.
