Position Overview:

We are in need of a dedicated and knowledgeable Water Treatment Technician to become part of our innovative team in the Engineering sector. The selected candidate will be essential in upholding and enhancing the water treatment systems within our facilities. This is a permanent position requiring full-time dedication.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a robust background in water systems, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of water quality and safety.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Water Treatment Technician, your responsibilities will encompass but are not limited to:

  • Operating and maintaining water treatment machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality at all times.
  • Conducting routine inspections and analyses of water samples to detect any potential issues or contaminants.
  • Interpreting test results and implementing necessary adjustments to treatment processes to ensure adherence to water quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting and rectifying any malfunctions within the water treatment systems.
  • Establishing preventive maintenance programs for all water treatment machinery and equipment.
  • Adhering to all safety and environmental regulations pertinent to water treatment.
  • Documenting all tasks performed, including any identified issues and corrective actions taken.
  • Staying informed about advancements in water treatment technologies and methodologies.
  • Providing training and support to other team members regarding water treatment processes and protocols.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and other departments to ensure the overall efficiency and effectiveness of water treatment operations.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role within the Engineering sector.
  • A degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience with water systems, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of water treatment processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in utilizing computer software and systems related to water treatment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel as required.
  • Physical fitness, with the capability to lift heavy equipment and work in diverse weather conditions.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth in the field of water treatment.
