  • Ensuring adherence to established specifications, scope of work, and industry standards in reviewed engineering drawings and designs.
  • Producing 2D and 3D CAD/BIM drawings and document sets from sketches, existing drawings, equipment shop drawings, and standard details for refrigeration, HVAC, piping, and controls systems.

  • Developing P&ID's, flow diagrams, equipment schedules, plans, and specifications for refrigeration systems.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years' experience in HVAC design, including plant chillers, AHU's, and construction. Experience with industrial refrigeration systems (Ammonia, DX refrigeration, and trans-critical CO2 systems) is preferred.
  • Current P.E. certification in one or more New England states is preferred, and we can support reinstatement of PE if needed.
  • Proficiency in drafting/design programs, such as CAD.
  • Ability to create, read, analyze, and interpret construction drawings and P&ID's.
