We are in search of a proactive and energetic individual to become a vital part of our hospitality team. The primary role of the Night Auditor is to support hotel guests during the overnight hours, ensuring their needs are met with the utmost level of service. This position involves auditing, balancing, and reporting on various hotel operations to provide precise and timely information while adhering to company policies and procedures, with a focus on fraud prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for all guest inquiries and requirements from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
  • Ensure accurate processing of hotel accounting across all operational areas, safeguarding the brand and assets against potential liabilities and fraud.
  • Conduct audits, balance accounts, and report on front desk, room, and food and beverage outlet transactions, resetting all registers to maintain accurate and efficient operations.
  • Complete the night audit finalization after confirming all revenue is balanced.
  • Assist guests at the front desk with their needs.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience in Accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to be on call and available for scheduling as needed.
  • This role demands strong attention to detail and the ability to compile and analyze data.
  • Familiarity with general office equipment and hotel systems, including cash registers, is essential.
  • Effective and courteous communication skills, both over the phone and in person, are necessary.
  • Occasional lifting of luggage up to 50 pounds may be required.
  • Availability during weekends and holidays is expected.
