Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Manager to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of nursing care services in our facilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing management, with experience in planning, developing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care services. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure that patients receive high-quality, patient-centered care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To plan, develop, coordinate, and evaluate the provision of nursing care services in our facilities
  • To direct the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including supervising staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • To facilitate the identification and implementation of standards of practice that meet the needs of our patients and stakeholders
  • To provide clinical direction and expertise to ensure that care is provided based on individual patient characteristics
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in nursing management, with experience in planning, developing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • A strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including those related to patient safety and quality of care
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
