About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NICU Nurse Specialist to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital in North Austin. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and experienced nurse to provide high-quality care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and developmental needs
  • Analyze data from medical records to coordinate patient care and make informed decisions
  • Develop individualized plans of care that prioritize patient-centered goals and outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and achieve hospital-wide objectives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent with active licensure in the State of Texas and BLS certification
  • At least one year of experience in NICU or ICU settings with proven ability to manage complex patient needs
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to quality patient care
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
