Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at Direct Companies. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for executing, controlling, and delivering modifications to control systems. This role requires a strong understanding of automation and process control systems, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute process control system integration projects of small to medium size.
  • Perform project deliverables under general supervision while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Program, configure, test, and commission PLC and HMI based control systems as assigned.
  • Verify client quality measures are being met.
  • Utilize, support, and enhance Direct Automation's standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's or technical degree and 2 years experience resulting in automation and process control systems knowledge (DCS, PLC, SCADA, Networking, etc.).
  • Process control experience, ABB, Emerson DeltaV, Rockwell, or Siemens PCS7 experience.
  • Experience with Industrial Communication Networks and control panel design.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.

  • Competitive salary range: $65,000 - $75,000.
