Job Title: HR Generalist Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Better Debt Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing guidance on HR policies and practices.

This is a full-time position located in Irvine, CA, with a salary range of $70,000-85,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and complete employee files, including personal details, employment history, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and audits as required.
  • Input and manage employee data in HRIS and other databases.
  • Conduct periodic data audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and practices to employees and management.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation and processing of relevant documentation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working in human resources.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Organizational and conflict management skills.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply HR policies and legal regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
