Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement new synthesis methods for novel compounds.
- Conduct experiments and analyze data to optimize compound formulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments.
- Communicate results and recommendations to team members and management.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Industrial Systems Engineering required.
- Education: MS or PhD. Postdoctoral training is a plus.
- Work Experience: none for applicants with PhD, ≥2y for candidates with MS.
- Strong background in chemical synthesis and preparative purification methods.
- Experience handling moisture-sensitive chemical reagents and reactions.
- Strong background on methods for molecular characterization (13C-,1H- & 19F-NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, mass spectrometry etc.).
- Ability to thrive in a multi-disciplinary setting and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, logical and analytical thinking, ability to multitask, work independently and on a team, and the ability to learn, troubleshoot, and problem solve.
Pay Range (Based on Experience & Qualifications): $42 - $50 per hour
