JOB OVERVIEW: Systems Administrators are IT professionals responsible for provisioning, maintaining, and securing organizational assets within an office setting. This encompasses a variety of equipment including telecommunication devices, printers, audiovisual systems, networking hardware, firewalls, servers, storage solutions, and backup systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To excel in this role, candidates must effectively perform the following primary duties:

  • Assist personnel encountering technical difficulties.
  • Configure computers and workstations for new hires.
  • Oversee both physical and digital security measures.
  • Ensure the security of networking devices within the office.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of technological resources.
  • Procure software and necessary components to sustain company hardware (e.g., RAM, toner, monitors).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in system administration.
  • Comprehensive experience with virtualization technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of system vulnerabilities and security challenges.
  • Willingness to respond to after-hours requests on a limited basis.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is 50,000 USD per year.
