Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Systems Engineer to lead the design and implementation of our IT infrastructure, aligning with our company goals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and improving IT systems through the integration and introduction of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead the configuration and management of SaaS, VPN, and MDM systems.
  • Implement and supervise the use of monitoring, security, and backup tools.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures related to data security, privacy, and disaster recovery across all company infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, and manage critical internal technology assets in AWS and on-premises.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet technical needs and drive company technology initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in IT, with 4+ years in a senior support role, including experience as a Systems Administrator or IT Systems Engineer.
  • Experience with Operating Systems, including Linux for account administration and package management.
  • Networking knowledge, including DNS, DHCP, OSI Model, TCP/IP, and UDP.
  • Advanced scripting and automation knowledge, including Bash, Python, and other languages.
  • Experience integrating and coding against third-party APIs, including JSON parsing, data validation, and schema and schema-less database parsing.
  • Understanding of user authorization and authentication technology, including SSO, OAuth, SAML, SCIM, and RBAC.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with planning and administration of Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience with Identity Provider (IdP) systems.
  • Strong knowledge of security and backup solutions.
  • Knowledge of security concepts, including Zero Trust Architecture and designing for GDPR.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,500-$170,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.

Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
