Position Overview:
The Visual Content Specialist & Senior Photographer will collaborate closely with the creative team to generate and refine imagery for a variety of marketing initiatives, digital platforms, publications, social media, professional portraits, and events. This role also includes the responsibility of engaging freelance photographers as needed.

Collaboration:
This position necessitates working alongside the social media team, public relations team, videographers, and independent contractors to produce visual materials that enhance the institution's communication strategies.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess advanced expertise in digital image editing, color correction, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. They should be adept at conceptualizing and capturing images in diverse environments utilizing both natural and artificial lighting, along with having a foundational understanding of video production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective time management and the ability to deliver high-quality images promptly.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate various projects.
  • Collaboration with a diverse range of individuals across the institution.
Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree coupled with substantial experience in photography, editing, writing, research, and project management OR
  • A High School Diploma/Equivalent with extensive experience in photography, editing, writing, research, and project management.
  • A proven history of capturing and editing images for various communication and marketing applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Macintosh operating systems.
  • Experience with web-based Content Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of best practices for photography in social media contexts.
