Computed Tomography Technologist I Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine diagnostic CT examinations, including both standard and specialized procedures.
  • Provide direct support to physicians during diagnostic and special imaging tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to established CT exam protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate of Applied Science degree.
  • Completion of an accredited radiography program.
  • Graduation from an accredited computed tomography program.
  • No prior experience required.

Licenses and Certifications:
  • American Registry for Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R).
  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or NMTCB certification.
  • Texas Medical Board certification (MRT).
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Computed Tomography Technologist II Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex diagnostic CT procedures, demonstrating proficiency in advanced imaging techniques.
  • Act as a mentor to junior technologists and students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Utilize critical thinking to address patient needs and ensure optimal imaging outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and quality control measures for imaging equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate of Applied Science degree.
  • Completion of an accredited radiology program.
  • Graduation from an accredited computed tomography program.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.

Licenses and Certifications:
  • American Registry for Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R).
  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or NMTCB certification.
  • Texas Medical Board certification (MRT).
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
