Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices.
- Establish effective communication with Site Management to ensure they are informed of ongoing maintenance activities.
- Liaise with Site Management to diagnose equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies.
- Perform preventive maintenance checks and monitor refrigerant usage.
- Maintain clean and safe conditions in machine and electrical rooms.
- Communicate with retail store location personnel to maintain refrigerated product integrity.
- Participate in the company's after-hours emergency call program.
- Assist with troubleshooting problems and complete equipment inventories as assigned.
- Journeyman qualified in refrigeration and HVAC systems or equivalent work experience.
- EPA certified for refrigerant handling class I & II or universal.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
