Position Summary

The Parts Procurement Specialist is tasked with sourcing and ordering components for a broad spectrum of vehicles and machinery. This role is vital: ensuring efficient and precise parts sourcing and orders aligns with our customer's commitment to deliver excellence safely. The position is highly collaborative, internally focused, and demands a comprehensive understanding of universal system functions.

Performance Objectives
  • Identifying, pricing, and ordering components for service requests and estimates.
  • Managing work in progress (WIP) on a daily basis.
  • Receiving component orders and updating the status of pending parts for dispatch.
  • Communicating parts status with dispatch and technicians through email and phone.
  • Overseeing outgoing credit returns and requests.
Capabilities and Key Competencies
  • Knowledge of industry vendors, including whether to procure a part from the dealer or aftermarket.
  • Ability to prioritize speed, cost, and availability for each service request.
  • Willingness to collaborate as part of a team.
  • Desire to learn about various types of machinery.
  • Effective communication skills with team members in a constructive manner.
  • Dependability and punctuality as a team member.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 4+ years of experience in a dealership, repair facility, or parts warehouse.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds multiple times throughout the day.
  • Compliance with required personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Capability to sit for extended periods.
